The Publication of Holding Patterns

Just posting and want to get the opinion from others on making the sim a little more realistic to the real world OPS. I flew a flight from KCVG to EGNX in the 77F variation. EGNX was not being covered by an active ATC service at the time. However, the arrival procedure got me thinking a bit. At the end of the MALUD 1E arrival there’s a published hold to stay at before getting clearance by ATC for the approach. Obviously without ATC coverage that rule comes down to pilot discretion and I completely understand that. However, I’d love to have the option in Infinite Flight to add holds to published FIX’s instead of using ForeFlight or other means of published charts. I also understand this is a bit advanced for the majority of users in Infinite Flight. However, for those who use the sim and try to make it as realistic as possible I’d love to have the ability to do so.

I guess due to the fact that for some reason I left VNAV and iPad on while at work and yeah you may or may not exceed 0.88M while descending from 38000 feet, though I also started doing it with really busy airports because I know I’ll be vectored around several times and understandably so. Anyways, I have been enabling VNAV but have a relatively long route planned with my own holding pattern relatively close/~40-50 nm away from my planned destination. Though, I understand why it doesn’t exactly help because I could be in the path of other arrivng and departing traffic and it is easier for ATC to control.
