Since I started using this amazing simulator, landing has been my weak point. I follow all the rules and guidelines to ensure a smooth and balanced landing, but whenever I activate APPR and align the aircraft with the runway, it still drifts to the side, and the landing ends up being imperfect. At the same time, I watch other aircraft landing after me with perfect smoothness and stability on the runway. What’s the secret? Does Infinite Flight have a feature for fully automatic landing—meaning even the touchdown and runway alignment happen automatically? Please clarify."
Practice and lots of it. only practice will help. There is no magical trick to instantly improve your landings.
I know exactly what you mean by the APPR “drifting off to the side” so I always recommend hand-flying your approach anywhere below 1000 feet AAL (above airport level) as the autopilot usually isn’t great at smooth touchdowns.
Flying manually also gives you full control of centerline and rate of descent as well so if I were you, I would give it a try.
Landing smoothly consistently is going to be tough to get down because of all the variables when it comes to the approach and landing.
Firstly your technique will largely be determined by your muscle memory.
But because wind, aircraft type, aircraft load, and approach speeds vary it’s going to be difficult to be consistent.
Instead, focus on how to generally correct an aircraft especially when the wind component is causing you to drift.
Get an idea of how much rudder input you need or how much you need to deflect ailerons.
If you want to simplify things, stick to one aircraft in the meantime and practice an approach and landing with solo mode. Start with no wind component then experiment with different levels and angles of wind.
TLDR; practice
Just a few seconds before touching down on the runway,
is the landing manual or automatic
Thank u, that was helpful for me.
Everyone has their own way of landing, My personal preference is to use the cockpit and pop up the HUD. This allows for the highest level of realism and accuracy. A good rule of thumb is that once you’re on final approach Fully configured Try to not exceed -1000 FPM.
"I also always use the cockpit view because it’s realistic. I meant, do you disconnect the APPR or do you let it complete the landing all the way to the end?
It depends on the flight. The only time I’m using APPR Is during low visibility approaches, In that case, I’ll disconnect the autopilot once the runway is in sight. Otherwise, I hand fly once I’m stable on final.
“I understand, thank u for the clarification✅. Can I ask u to recommend something that would make my landing more professional?”
Solo is a great place to fine tune your handling skills. It allows total customization of wind speeds, wind gusts, visibility etc. And you can spam it from final over and over again. I spent a few months on solo familiarising myself with how each aircraft handles before moving on to the servers.

I disengage AP whenever I can unless winds make manual control difficult or there is a low visibility like @Humanguy said
Make sure you are stabilized and in constant control, don’t exceed -1000 FPM on final, and when it doubt, go around.
