I’m not sure if this was posted already, but I’m curious as I’ve been a long time member since the pre-global days. Before the updated sound-pack came to be in 2015, the old sound pack for jets sounded nothing at all like a jet engine, having deep bass and echoes that sounded like something recorded. Does anybody really know what was actually recorded?

Are these sounds from Area 51 or something? That does not sound like a jet engine of sorts, or anything from this world even. I’m not from this era of IF, so i wouldn’t know this sound at all. Putting jokes aside, it kind of sounds like the regular 737 sounds that were slapped on the old A380 , but distorted in some way. Don’t quite know how to explain it any different.
