In its early life, the A350 wasn’t much more than a re-engined A330, coupled with some aerodynamic improvements. Airlines initially hated the idea, with some major airlines and lessors publicly criticising Airbus for the design when compared to the all-new 787. Little did anyone know the original A350 would end up being built anyway…

May look like the Cayman Islands or the Bahamas
yeah because he’s saying that the A330 neo was the original design for the A350 before they changed some stuff (the nose as one example) to make the current A350 we know and love, but Airbus still made the original design and called it the A330 neo.
