I have never in my life made a complaint towards Infinite Flight before. But this new free cam feature that has been added to beta is ridiculous. It is very slippery and I do not like the 2 joystick motions for both “move” and “look.” This completely ruins the purpose of making content like infinite flight movies or cinematics. There is also no way to zoom in when using it. And many of my friends have also claimed that they do not like the new feature either and I really hope you guys bring back the original free cam motion, or AT LEAST make an option to use either motion. Please do not make this official as the new free cam motion.

There is also no way to zoom in when using it.

You can hold your finger and tilt the device. This has always been a thing.

i definitely dont like the joysticks showing up, at least for cinematics. the motion i could get used to though. if there were an option to not show the joysticks, im sure that would fix it. if there were an option to keep the old motion for the free cam, that would be awesome as well. and i know you can zoom by tilting the device, but i personally dont like that. if i have to i might be willing to get used to the new free cam, but potentially keeping the current free cam as a “legacy free cam” option would be fantastic

I agree. In my honest opinion, it’s slow and slippery which makes it harder for me to use.

This feature in the latest Beta Build sucks, and is super slippery. Hear me out, it has to be removed.

I completely agree with what you are saying here Jan, but these are future features that are going to be added to the actual update. And by the looks of it, it seems like you guys are completely removing the legacy free cam motion.

I understand that the slipperiness and the other bugs will be fixed, but it’s the joysticks for the free cam that are the main issue. It completely ruins the purpose of making Infinite Flight cinematic or movie videos because it gets in the way.

And in my opinion, this is not a good upgrade to the current free cam. (Only because of the virtual free cam joysticks, not the slipperiness because I understand that will be fixed)

It’s precisely these pesky joysticks that mess up my Infinite Flight vid-making, and there’s no way to hide them. I went back to the old build within a minute of testing Build 15518—those two huge circles taking over the screen are such a nuisance.
