The MVP of the Americas

If you were to ask yourself, “what airline connects the Americas the best?” Maybe you’d think of one of the big 3 U.S. carriers, Air Canada, Aeromexico, Avianca or even LATAM. But in my opinion, you’d be wrong in fact I think it’s Copa Airlines of Panama :panama: its hub at Tocumen Airport serves as a great place between North and South America and its diverse route network mainly in Latin America beats the competition and it’s not even close. Most secondary cities are one stop away from big hubs with a connection in PTY of course.

Beautiful Copa Airlines Boeing 737MAX8 taking off from Fort Lauderdale :desert_island::motor_boat: en route to Panama City, Panama :panama: before connecting to who knows where

@SoFloAviator summon for FLL
@Jger an @brunocr98 summon for PTY

We used to along with Bogotá layovers years ago since the nonstop flights were evening-night flights and now that they’re morning flights, the nonstop option is just more convenient

But we’ll probably consider it in the future, especially if Copa begins PBI service

Don’t really see that happening considering copa operates to FLL and MIA

Still a possibility, there is still a big hispanic population in West Palm Beach and the surrounding areas and I think lots of people who live in PBC would fly out of their home airport just with a brief stop in PTY rather than having to go all the way down to FLL or MIA

But a negative can be the pricing as FLL is really cheap to use and MIA isn’t far behind, PBI is the most expensive of the 3 airports usually and with Copa being the sole monopoly, who knows how much they’d charge
