The Monster range of the A350-1000

The A350-1000 is able of an amazing 7,950NM that is a heck lot.
It means it can from LAX to SYZ and still have around 1,500NM spare
It can even fly from LAX to india. So why do airlines operate it on so small routes.

Its possible.

However, its the case where the tanks and range allow for such a long range, but is unable to have its usual seats to happen. It then becomes more of a burden than profit.

Oh sorry for snapping at you. I thought you meant that comment sarcastically. I didn’t know the a350-800 was cancelled.

For Training. The Pilots Need To Learn How To Fly It Before Taking It Halfway Across The World

It has and i think a few airlines are flying it right now.

Actually the farthest flying that Airbus is planning is the A350-900ULR which has a range of only 8,700 nmi

Keep in mind that these numbers are based on zero wind and light loads, which is not what usually happens on a typical commercial flight. There are usually winds involved along with a heavy load.

Actually most airlines calculate max range with MTOW.

Air India flys from From San Francisco to Mumbai on the 772LR daily
