Hello!
Exactly two days ago, I went of s flight with @Bren_McDonell and @DeltaMD88Fan. We didn’t do just any flight, we did a formation flight, in IF! Now, we all wish that we had the MD-80 in IF, but we sadly don’t. I’ll spare y’all of you and I won’t lecture everyone on why we need the MadDog, but it would be nice to have it. As a substitute for the MD-80, we used the 717, which is still a great plane. So onto our flight, we did Atlanta (KATL) to Charlotte (KCLT), which is a very short flight, but it’s fun too. It was really fun to do a formation flight in one of my favorite planes, and I think we got some nice photos from it as well, one from @DeltaMD88Fan, and two from me. Why am I talking about them, let’s see the photos instead!

Waiting at the gate at KATL, I managed to get this photo of our Mini-MadDogs. Right now, we’re waiting to depart on our formation flight to KCLT. From this photo, you can really see my editing style, which is lots of editing!

Climbing out of KATL, about to reach cruising altitude (which we stayed at for one minute 😂). In this photo, DeltaMD88Fan and I are both flying in formation, Bren_McDonell is right behind us. Why am I talking about this like I know everything about it, I don’t, it’s not even mine! 😛

This has got to be my favorite photo I’ve ever taken with the 717. This was taken upon final approach to KCLT, where me and @Bren_McDonell had questionable landings. Either way, it was a good ending to a great flight!
First off, we all like the 717. But the 717 is no MadDog! I’ve linked the MD-80 request thread, as this flight would’ve been so much cooler with it, and it’s a legendary aircraft in itself.

Now that I’ve got that over with, I’d like to give a huge thanks to @Bren_McDonell and @DeltaMD88Fan for doing this flight, it wouldn’t have been fun without you! Also, thank you for stopping by everyone, and feedback is accepted, like always. Have a great day, and stay safe out there!
