The Last Flight Of The Delta 777 - 10/31/2020 @ KJFK

On Saturday, October 31st, I went to spot the retirement flight of the Delta 777, operating from JFK to LAX.

The aircraft operating this flight was N701DN, a 12 year old 777-232LR named “The Delta Spirit” and dedicated to all Delta employees worldwide.

N701DN was also the first 777-200LR that Delta took delivery of- it was also the first 77L to be delivered to any US airlines. The Delta Spirit started service on March 8, 2008, with a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

This flight marked the end of the 21 year history of the Delta 777.
