Hello everyone! I am a native of Kansas City and KMCI is a great airport to spot at! I wanted to share this guide with the community in case you guys ever visit this beautiful city!

I don’t use this spot much because ever since we got the new terminal, we don’t really use 1R/19L, this spot really is only good for spotting the old planes/planes in maintenance over on the east side of the airport

This spot is good for seeing the old planes/planes in maintenance above, it is also good for the landings on runway 27! here is a photo of mine below
Spot 1: parking garage
This is the best spot at KMCI, although it cost around 5 dollars depending on how long you stay, it has great views of landings on runways 1L, 27, and 09, and it also has great takeoffs from 19R, and 27!
