Hey everyone. Currently, the pandemic had recently had HiFly convert their A380 into an A380F (Cargo) making in the worlds first A380 Cargo conversion.
They had taken out majority seats for room for cargo. The first and business class seats remain as it was before.
In my opinion, its a good idea since Covid-19 has caused in increase in Cargo Transportation of many things such as medical supplies
Very…Interesting looking on the inside to say the least.
Luckily it looks like the Flight Attendents can still watch over the cargo in their jumpseats, which must be a good thing. Right?
Yes i believe so! And it can still fit passengers i believe. Its like a hybrid basically like how Norlinor did their 737 hybrid.
The aircraft is currently on wet lease so the demand for this aircraft will be higher.
A380 Freighter sets record for Longest Time to Board Cargo
I can’t wait to see this in action.
I haven’t seen the first A380 cargo version before.
It still looks like a whale. 😒
But certainly an interesting plane. You said that they left some of the first and business class seats, so does that technically make it an A380-combi?
Some would say no as its a crew rest area.
Some would say yes as they are passenger seats
