Finally getting back into flying… once again really annoyed after my recent flights on expert server. Not only are so many pilots inexperienced and un orderly, but also, even some controllers don’t seem to know too much about the airport they are controlling… I’m not questioning their expertise, rather the fact that in my search for a realistic experience, I am left unsatisfied. Just figured I’d come to this topic to say this lol. One day, maybe there will be an expert expert server.

Lately I’ve been seeing plenty of instances of people screwing around and not caring for rules or authority. Take, for example, this post by @Abhik_Mallik:
This is not the standard we should be holding for the highest server. I am currently flying from MCO to AMS as we speak and I witnessed a guy spawn in and taxi to Runway 17L (which, among many things, is rarely, and I mean rarely, used for departures), which is the eastern-most south-facing runway at. There were two inbounds for the north-facing runways, and he just flew straight through them. To add to my frustrations, the north-facing runways are the ones being used IRL as of right now. Just very disappointing to see, especially considering I’m rarely flying nowadays.
Well, at least the message on top indicates that ATC was online. Let’s hope those 2 were eventually reported.
This happened yesterday at EGLL expert server…the ATC was indeed active but the frequency was so busy…most traffic…i guess ATC didn’t notice that guy.
Hey, I’d strongly recommend to address this user privately and not berate or call them out in this manner.
Mods encourage users to NOT to call out IFATCs or publicly shaming them on IFC. Out of courtesy and to avoid further toxicity amongst members of this community, this should apply to calling out other users as well.
WHAT THE F**K ! I just can’t. This happened to me during landing to LFPG. This guy almost flew through me. I reported three times that I was on final approach ! How on earth does this guy have access to the expert server! He was flying too fast, didn’t keep the proper distance and eventually crashed on the runway. THE ABILITY TO REPORT SUCH PLAYERS IS NEEDED IMMEDIATELY !!!
There should be an ifatc trainee program where they can control in training server and issue violations. Make it so everyone can control on casual only
I think that possibly a select airport with loot that much traffic can be used for that trainee program and IFATC can monitor your performance and score you based on a rating system. That rating will decide what level of ATC he/she is and make the decision of training him/her for ES
Of course it’s that one person with the Air France A380. Since you know the username though, perhaps send them a dm? If that doesn’t work or they respond with hostility, maybe take it up with mods or ifatc staff

Lately I’ve been seeing people taking off from LAX rwy 25R and immediately turning right and overflying the 24 runways, even when ATC is active. Obviously not an expert move and would never be allowed irl.
Also seeing people refusing to adjust their speed to follow the aircraft ahead on the descent. They either tailgate or pass within inches of the other aircraft making THEM have to slow down or make a 360 for spacing.
Also seeing people flying narrow bodies at 340 kts during climb and descent when 280-300 is normal.
Cruising altitude chaos. East is odd, west is even (at least in the US).
This isn’t meant to complain or shame anyone, but to raise awareness to the fact that these aren’t expert moves and maybe someone can learn something.
Yess so true. Whenever u staff LAX, I always put the aircraft to 25L, or 24R for departures and the others for arrivals depending of the fpl. However in not IFATC, so I’m stuck on the TS. The problem I’m with TS, as you all know, is that some don’t even put in a flight plan. Like they want to ruin our day. All of that just to do pattern work at a busy LAX in a B737 Max. It’s really annoying and that’s why I want to get to IFATC as fast as possible.
