I think you summed up my thoughts in a much nicer way than I’ve been tempted to put it.
I also noticed one of the ATC supervisors commented on a different post which I think is adequate here.

The thing is, though, they said that “some users just want to fly and enjoy themselves”. I think that applies to most users (I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to enjoy themselves), but if it involves military aircraft at a civilian airport, or it involves flying like a jerk, then they can keep it for the Casual server. We’re not saying don’t have fun, we’re just saying don’t ruin the fun for others

Okay, I can understand the trolls and the people who don’t always fly correctly. But this is where you loose me.
how does this ruin the fun for others? If the person is flying appropriately and without interfering with others, why does it matter what kind of plane that person is flying?

Because, let’s face it - if you see an F18 at LAX, are they really trying to be realistic? No! They’re in a fighter jet so they can mess around and annoy people. That sort of behavior should be reserved for Casual

This is a broad assumption which does not apply to everyone. Not every single person in a fighter is there to irritate you. Btw, LAX might be a bad argument for unrealism. Last time I checked, LAX does have military aircraft stationed there in real life.

Once again I strongly agree with you here.
An F18 on a high performance takeoff to then fly next to you isn’t necessarily behaving in an unprofessional or trolling manner.
Equally, across Europe it is fairly common to see Military aircraft in big civilian hubs - the general public just tends not to see it!!

This is the level we have in the “expert server”.
In my final approach to ZBAA, apart from not keeping the minimum distance behind me to be able to land safely without entering into conflict, it passed over me at less than 500 ft of altitude and landed right in front of me. I was able to go around after this dirty move but honestly I didn’t think he deserved it and I will land after him.
Well done @Tim_de_V we’ll see if next time you do the same with an active tower.
By the way, you have to improve your performance.

As long as the fighter jets communicate with ATC, and as long as they respect other aircrafts (giving them space, etc.), I’ll be happy with that.

I for myself feels like its too much to choose the right route/gate/plane/livery (I do for VA because they have a list and it’s easy to follow) using FR24 and Flightaware. I honestly got interested:

I understand that. Many people simply don’t have the time, patience, resources, or energy to dedicate themselves to that level of realism. However, what we are saying is that, for those who are willing and able to commit to that next level of professionalism, we want a way to access that, whether it be through pilot training, a new server, etc. I’m not saying that it’s bad to want to just fly - I support it, actually - but I see a world where both of these things can live in harmony, and not have it be just one or just another. In the end, we want everybody to be happy, so the more interests that can be accommodated, the better.

I haven’t personally experienced stuff on ES that will make me as passionate as people are about this.
I’m more into having a better training server: Stricter Training Server
I believe this will prime pilots on how they behave when they reach the expert server.

Lately, I’ve been seeing an increased amount of topics here on the IFC about people getting frustrated with pilot behavior on the Expert Server. I know that there are a lot of people who support the cause. Just voting in my poll doesn’t do much though - we need to vote for the new features that I have linked, and keep this topic active. The more visible it is, the more people will see it, and hopefully, the more change there will be. It’s getting out of hand, it truly is.

Just had a whole GROUP of trolls at LPMA and I had to go around two times. This needs to be fixed.

Also people say things cant be done unless a staff or moderator is present, but when I was landing at EWR I saw a fighter trolling arrivals into JFK and another guy in a 747 taxied through me after I landed and was flying though others on approach, all while a bunch of aircraft called “Laura’s fleet” were parked at JFK and nothing happened

I am 99.999% sure those parked aircraft are left there, with no-one present behind a device solely to generate hype for the next update haha.
They are defo not Mods watching for bad behaviour.
Over the past 2 days i have been intercepted 2 times and a guy in an a380 was doing pattern work yesterday and cut in front of me on final almost causing a crash. Now Listen. I don’t think ES will become more professional anytime soon. I would just like to share my experience and explain how I also think ES should be more professional.
