The Eternal Spring City

The Eternal Spring City, a well deserved nickname for Medellin, Colombia :colombia: due to its year round mild temperature, the commonality of rain showers and the overall geography of the city. While Cali would reasonably be my favourite because that is where most of my family is from, Medellin would honestly be my personal favourite for the aforementioned reasons above and the overall experience in the city. Medellin I served by 2 airports for commercial the flights, the main Jose Maria Cordova International Airport technically located in Rionegro catering to jet traffic throughout Colombia :colombia: South America or even internationally to North America and Europe. There is also the much smaller Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport which only caters to turboprops flying domestically within the country. American Airlines has been flying to Medellin for a while now obviously using JMC airport, they have had flights to Miami, FL :palm_tree::clinking_glasses: and New York JFK :statue_of_liberty::red_apple: although the latter was cut almost 3 years ago.
