So today is the start of the end of Flybe as it starts to be rebranded as Virgin Connect, it’s the first name change since 2002 when they changed from British European to Flybe and follows the sale of the airline earlier in the year.

Will be interesting to see if they keep the “Jersey” callsign. I personally hope they do as I live in Jersey :)
Apparently they are. It’s going to be like a feeder airline for Virgin so that more people will be able to fly from the like of Jersey to Heathrow to connect with Birgin flight from there as well as other airports.
I personally don’t like the name either. Sounds like a train service.
Everyone’s saying it’s a horrible name, it’s probably just one of those things that are hated when they come put , most new aircraft liveries are hated at first, but then you gradually like it more and more, I think we should probably give it a chance first, though at the moment I agree it does sound horrible. I wonder what their new call sign will be if it changes?
