The Emirates Endeavor: Da Nang

As I progress past 20% of completing every current Emirates routes, I’d like to share my second featured destination—Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang, Vietnam!

Service to Da Nang is made possible by fifth freedom rights via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport—a key airport for Emirates, which is also served by direct A380 flights and as an origin to other fifth freedom sectors, such as Siem Reap and Hong Kong.

Beginning just last month (June ‘25), service to Bangkok via the high-capacity 777-300ER configuration was changed to accommodate two new fifth freedom destinations, yielding 4 weekly flights to Da Nang and 3 weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia.
