I was doing a flight to Amsterdam and by the time i was on final i was still at 240 even tho i had the flight spoilers out! This made it very very hard to land can someone help with this as I would be grateful thanks
If you didnât gradually decrease speed as you descended, that could be why
No i did i put the speed to 180 for final but it didnt slow down and i was gradually going down until i looked back over and it went back up again, the flight spoilers didnt slow me down what so ever!
Hello!
Did you extend the flaps? Flaps increase the wingâs surface area, allowing for the plane to fly slower.
Yes and then it just pulled me back up ive been playing this game for a few years now and this makes me look like a noobđđ
Make sure to gradually slow your speed. You canât expect the E190 to be at 240 knots and then suddenly slow to 170 quickly. Especially when youâre descending, itâll take time for the plane to slow down.
By final, Iâm always at 180 knots or below. 240 is too fast by this stage of the flight.
I was doing that but it didnt want to i will get a few photos up here 1 sed
EJets are slippery aircraft by design, both IRL and in-game. You need to plan ahead with the EJets. Youâre not gonna have it slow like a brick as if youâre in a 737. FWIW, 240 on final is pretty ludicrous in and of itself. Aim for 180kts max within a 10nm final.
Yeah ig so the thing is tho i also dont wanna end up with another speed violation the 777 is the same and i wanna fly them but they just dont like međ
Respect the aircraft and how they each individually handle. Itâs not about whether or not the plane likes you; you need to learn how it flies and handles. The 777s and the EJets are about the most thoroughly tested and vetted models we have. If your flying technique results in you getting L1s, perhaps consider refining your own technique to suit the plane. :)
Ive been using them for quite a while i try to get use them but its quite hard because ive had a lot of oversleeping then getting violation because of the speedđ
Try practicing in Solo so you can get a feel for the different airplanes and how they handle, their thrust profiles, etc. That way, you can make mistakes and learn how they operate, while not getting violations either!
Will do thanksđ
No problem, best of luck!
Thank youđ
When you reduce speed, use spoiler âFlightâ it will reduce speed easy
You can also plan your descent so that you level out off some point, which lets you lose speed much more quickly than when youâre descending and trying to slow down at the same time
I did lmaođ
I think you were descending too fast you shouldnât descend fast đ
