The E-175 engine has a metal piece inside the engine

When I was doing a walk around I noticed that there was a piece of metal in the engine is this a bug or a miss model of the engine

The aforementioned “metal piece” is also there in the real-world reference picture that you sent. It’s not a bug. Just attention to detail.

Oh thank you @Pingu

As @Pingu said, then @ybtl.aviation unnecessarily clarified, and as I am now also going to, the metal piece is there IRL. Thanks @Pingu for answering, I just felt like chipping in too. Isn’t it fun?

Just just to clarify, “this piece of metal” is called -T12- is a sensor that picks up parameters from the air before the engine inlet , this sensor will not be present on all planes, but this and other sensors are necessary for testing the engine on the test cell

This is actually really impressive attention to detail, kind of proud of IF for this one tbh.

Man thought It was a bug but it’s a detail

As @Pingu said, Then @ybtl.aviation unnecessarily clarified then @Kirito_77 also unnecessarily clarified, I felt the need to step in too. So as @Pingu said its also there in IRL.

Sorry. Wont do it again :(
