The Difference Between a Bombardier Dash and a DeHavilland Dash

There is only one Dash in IF; the Bombardier Dash 8

In FSX, there is also only one Dash; the DeHavilland Dash 8. It is thrice as compact according to FSX’s modeling, with smaller engines than the Bombardier Dash 8. They are the same plane, but are there any differences between the new plane and the old one?

Discuss the differences between the new Bombardier Dash 8 and the old DeHavilland Dash 8 here!

Different planes.

I might be wrong, but I think Bombardier bought DeHavilland.

Different manufacturers, yes. Any physical differences, such as what it looks like and how it maneuvers?

Well the plane isn’t different.

a bit of history here about the DHC-8 which became the B-8. I am not sure if DeHav built the q400 models or just the 100-300 series?

Oh, please don’t use “FSX’s physics” as an argument - since FSX’s physics are WAY off

It wasn’t physics, first of all, it was design.

Second of all, I have nothing else to say.
