Hello everyone!

For my first spotting session of 2026, I visited Palm Springs Airport to get some mountain backdrop shots and catch some arrivals during peak seasonal traffic at the airport. All of the shots including a mountain backdrop should’ve been backlit but since it was overcast, that didn’t happen.

Which is a shame since the -700s look so adorable.

Great photos, went spotting at PSP once, got kicked out of a lot, was still fun.

Where did you spot at? I’ve spotted at nearly every common spot and haven’t had any issues

It was some private lot i think near the threshold of 13R. Airport Ops came over and told me to go away (a little nicer but yea)

yea there were small signs, but the folks there didn’t seem to care. Airport ops even drove by a couple times before they came over about an hour after i arrived. Was a great spot though, and a low fence.

Lovely photos again! Im Planning on doing the reverse of this route, sadly will still have to use a generic A319.
