Well the age old error of unit conversion causing trouble once again haha. While setting up my flight plan on simbrief I forgot to check the little box from kgs to lbs, didn’t even notice anything was wrong. Loaded all the fuel and cargo and began my trip from Tocumen to Mexico City. About 2 hours into the flight I noticed it said min fuel on the hud, and I looked and the fuel numbers and there was no way I was going to make it… I had to make an emergency landing at Xoxocatlan, brought it down with only 300 lbs of fuel remaining, first time that’s happened to me lol, an experience worth having. I redid the flight plan and this time I made sure to load the fuel correctly to get me to my correct destination. Although it didn’t mean much anyways, I got off the ground and continued enroute to Mexico City only to get a level 2 violation as I touched down, yikes
I always check the approximate fuel time before exiting W&B for this reason lol
Hi,
It was me on Tower at the time you landed. If you contact me, we can discuss why it was applied—if you’re the pilot I think I reported then. Just confirm your call sign in my PMs.
Great work on the emergency landing and sorry, nonetheless, for a bitter end to an impressive flight!

No it was my fault I landed while the guy in front was still exiting the runway and didn’t go around, it was given to me by the ground controller as well since there was no other atc online at that time, it’s a fair violation
FYI, I think you can set KGs to default if that would help. Above the section where it says weight units and ofp layout, there’s a button that says “set defaults” or something to that effect.
Hi,
I believe it was me that gave it to you, just after you switched to Ground frequency. You were fine to land, it wasn’t a go-around issue.
Where’s the fun in load certainty? Always live life on the edge of minimum fuel.
