The characteristics of both aircraft are extremely similar. The one main advantage the Citation has over the Challenger is it can cruise slightly higher and slightly faster - but its range is almost the same.

Because today there is a new standard of aircraft in the fleet. If Infinite Flight kept all of the legacy aircraft that have already been removed before, it wouldn’t reflect on today’s aircraft standards. Take for example the Super Decathlon. It was one of the oldest models, had no cockpit, and was one of the only tail wheel aircraft in the fleet. That’s why the XCub replaced it. Just like in that instance, because the challenger is also a midsize corporate jet, its newer and up to standards model replaced the Citation X.

Nah the C750 could easily do 6,500 nm with a standard load. A CL35 would be lucky to run half that. The two of them are in entirely different classes in terms of range. Closest replacement for the C750 in today’s game is the 737-700 BBJ unfortunately.

According to Wikipedia its range is 3.460nm.
It’s not exactly uncommon in Infinite Flight for the aircraft to have way more range than their IRL counterparts do - the CL35 is probably one of the closest to IRL range-wise.
Trust me I know all about that lol, I’m just saying CL35 isn’t a direct replacement for the C750 in Infinite Flight specifically.
