The Bri’ish Flagship

Hey all, this time i’m not forgetting to post.

Yesterday, British started sending their A35K’s to Phoenix, which is also a first for us. The A35K is a brand new aircraft type for Sky Harbor, being this is the first time one has ever come in.

So i did what any normal person would do on a hot and windy sunday afternoon, i went and saw it. There was probably about a total of 40 people lined up on the T4 north side, which was pretty cool to see.

Anyway, on to the fotos

First up, this AA 738 with the new logo on only the inside part of the winglets

2nd is a close up shot of the PSA heritage sitting at her gate

3rd and 4th we have a Fedex Md11 fighting the gusty winds down to 25L, Sky Harbor’s shortest runway

Sitting on the end of the pier, AW heritage taxies off to 25R for departure

From some united hub, a United 738 touches down on 26

The star of the show, British’s brand new A35K on final from London

and here she is taxiing to one of 4 heavy gates at PHX with a swa 738 greasing it in the back.

thanks for viewing, i’ll get the polls right this time.

I love that lol “The Bri’ish” I’m from London and although I definitely pronounce my T’s there’s quite a lot of people I know that don’t. And great shots of our A350!

You’re welcome

Very nice spotting! Very cool to see the A35K going to Phoenix instead of the 777
