It surely is. The “aircraft” that got me in aviation w was nothing other than the Space Shuttle Discovery itself

I did logistics, so basically anything and everything that came in the lab I saw first hand. I still know tons of people that work at JPL so if you ever need a more in depth tour lmk. They offer tours to the public free of charge fyi.
