Hello IFC,
I was looking at eBay recently and saw an aircraft for sale-a 1946 Ercoupe 415C-for the price of $6,144 USD. I looked at it again, thinking it was a joke, but then a realized that this was legit. A quick search showed me a that there were more on eBay, and that people ACTUALLY buy these. Has anyone every done this or know anyone that has?

My father knew someone at his old place of employment who bought an aircraft, do not know which one though (a Cessna I think?). Was a few thousand quid.

Collectors will pay a lot for literally everything in this world, so it doesn’t surprise me the same thing applies for model aircraft…

These are not necessarily model aircraft, some actually fly.

Hahah, and how will they deliver the plane? Are they selling it with included pilot?

Lol. Maybe they send it part by part in the mail. Or maybe they fly it to you. One thing I know is that I would not try to find out.

Wow I guess I’ll insert 10k and buy it!
I got lots of good models (1/200 and 1/400) I don’t use,hopefully they gain value in like 20 yrs
I’ll probably forget tho 😂
