I donāt know the details on the Max vs. NG but Iām pretty sure the AI has some things mixed up. Why would a pointed nose be needed to accommodate the larger engines? It sounds like itās trying to get at something about the nose gear extension (which is significantly longer on the Max compared to the NG).
For what itās worth, I cannot visually differentiate an NG and a Max in front of the nose gear on any variant. Iām pretty sure theyāre close enough makes no difference. If there is a difference itās probably irrelevant.
Edit: upon further inspection the Max seems to have an extra pitot tube or some other instrument. go figure.
I agree. It also says on the bottom āAI can get stuff wrong so double checkā lol
They are very slight differences, and considering theyāre making the max model out of scratch, starting almost a year ago, there is not one reason I can think of that they didnāt look at the planeā¦
I have nose idea if AI is being fo real.
I think they reused the 737NG fuselage tho to save some time
I think the differences are modeled alright. The tail cone is at least the MAX one and not the NG. Also I found out that the exterior avionics setup is the same between the two, 2 on the right side and 1 on the left. Therefore the noses should be identical for the purpose of this game.
Have you seen the IF A350 cockpit windows lol
Boy AI is dumb.
What about it? I never really seen the issues on the a350ā¦ could you elaborate?
Bruh they made that 4 years agoā¦ lots of stuff has progressedā¦ we didnāt even have cabins thenā¦ I wouldnāt take the a350 in consideration for issues lol
wait whats the problem with the a350 windows?
Iām sure there are better sources of info than an AI. If what that thing said were true, the staff would of taken it into account
Itās true the maxās nose is eeeeever so slightly pointier but not to that point.
The artists are doing a great job :)
Thatās a fair point but itās also such a monumental issue that it probably should be mentioned with discussions like this. Regardless I think the Max is going fine. Looks good.
Having been burned here recently by me not adequately cross checking AI info, I wanted to look at this a bit.
Iām getting repetitive problems with AI not being able to distinguish between āpointing the noseā as in the pitch pointed the nose up, and āpointed noseā as in manufactured shape of the nose.
So far, when Iāve asked for clarification on the pointed nose as meaning shape, the references I get to substantiate the AI text all talk about the pointed nose as the permanent shape.
As far as the extra sensors (AoA was the reading I previously got), it was reported to be related to the MCAS reliability issue (adding redundancy).
But AI telling me the shape of the nose is related to the MCAS issue??
I limited my time with that frustrating engagement. (others might have different results?)
If someone can consistently identify Max vs NG by nose shape Iāll give them a cookie. Theyāre virtually identical by all accounts.
the one on top cuz it has a pointier nose ig idk
Edit: wait, I looked back theres really no difference tbh. it just looks pointier because the one on topās angle is more to the right a lil
no, the a350 was made at least 5 years ago not 4
The moment you realize 2019 was 5 years ago: š“š»
top one was correct
