The age old question...

Boeing all the way

Boeing by a longshot!
But I have to admit, the Hawaiian A330-2 is a nice ride even if you’re in economy

I prefer Airbus xD

As long is comfortable and safe, it’s a good plane

Don’t know how you travel so often long routes, to get on B777, A380,…

I travel only small routes often 3-4 hours. So I was only on a B737 and A330.
When I saw the A330 at the gate I couldn’t believe that for a 3 hrs flight came a so “big” aircraft.

Technically my post was a different question to the “Airbus vs Boeing” post. I’m asking about safety, not preferences.

As a Pilot Airbus, as a passenger Boeing.

I will always be in favour of Airbus. But in my opinion:
B737 vs A320- A320
B767 vs A330- A330
B777 vs A340- B777! Who agrees with me on this?
B787 vs A350- A350
B747 vs A380- A380

A 737 is a fantastic looking aircraft, especially the later variants. Both are safe but Boeing put the pilot in control primarily as the safety function. Having said that, sat in the back of the plane I worry more about the two guys in the front as opposed to the airframe falling apart. Just to contradict myself.

I htink the 787 is better.

Airbus all the way!

As a passenger, how safe I feel has nothing to do with the planes as it does the pilots. The machine is only as smart and competent as the person operating it. I am loyal to both manufactures though as both planes that are close to my heart is the A321 and the Boeing 767.
