There must be over 50 planes (I think) on IF. There has to be that one plane that you always somehow come back to. I’m not talking about the newest planes or the ones with that are most accurate / realistic. Do you have that one plane that’s your go-to plane?
For me it has to be the A350, for reasons unbeknownst to me. Or for many reasons I don’t know lol. The way it behaves in the air, on the runway, climb - descent, beats me. The way it looks as well. I’ve been flying a lot of the short haul planes lately, but always keep coming back to the A350. Random livery of course 😅
For me it’s the 737-800 or A320 due to its large popularity here in Australia, used for practical flights mostly between the capital cities in each state, many of which I’ve taken
I like the C208 because I like doing short cargo runs up and down the east coast, and then for a pax flight, a dash-8; it handles well and I love to fly into Vancouver with it on the ils 08R appr
B737-800 for sure. To me, it has the best cockpit out of all the planes. Idk what they did but even though it was reworked 4 years ago, they somehow managed to make the cockpit look better than their future updates
As of now, the 777F, A380 and A350 as well, definitely. I’m currently doing a flight around the world with multiple legs at major hubs in the 777F Lufthansa Cargo. At 26 hours consecutive flight time currently. Great aircraft.
737-800 all the way. Handles perfect and I fly this aircraft most of the time with Ryanair out of my home airport. Flight is amazing super realistic. Also can’t wait for the MAX to 🙌
My favorite planes are A350 too and the B787, even if I usually replicate short-medium-distance flights, the ones I use the most are the A320 and B737 family.
For some reason, the A320 feels especially hard on landings, as if the landing gear was made out of wood. Might just be me, though. Fantastic aircraft model nevertheless.
omgg I found someone who thinks the same!! I think it’s due to the lack of gear suspension… the 737NG has at least a little suspension on landing but the a320 is literally none
The A320’s suspension feels like a dream if you compare it to the 767. And that is awesome when compared to the A340 and 717, planes actually with no suspension whatsoever.
