To the Infinite Flight Staff, pilots, and community members:
It’s with a heavy heart to announce that today I will be stepping away from Infinite Flight to peruse the next chapters of my life.
I know… not another one of these posts… I’ve seen dozens of them before, and honestly I don’t think mine is going to be any better…but I truly felt the need to acknowledge just how much of a pleasure it has been to be a part of this wonderful simulator, and community, both that have been a huge part of my life for the past 6 years.
Over the course of 6 years, I had the pleasure to pay witness and be a part of Infinite Flight’s greatest moments. From the implementation of global, to new and reworked aircraft such as the EMJ170/190, 777 series, A330, and the A350 which will always have a special place in my heart in kick starting my update reaction series.
I also got to meet so many wonderful people from the Infinite Flight community.
The Infinite Flight moderators and staff who were always willing to give me insight and on some occasions, keep me in check. @Laura, @jasonrosewell @MishaCamp, and the rest of team Infinite Flight. (Im so sorry for the pings!) You all will forever hold a special place in my life, I shall never forget you all, and the simulator that helped me become the person I am today. Thank you for making Infinite Flight such a significant part of mine, and many others lives, I have no doubt that Infinite Flight will be a major part of the flight sim community for years to come.
The pilots and staff of British Airways Virtual, who pretty much helped me build the Captain No Gear name.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your team. You all helped me take my flying skills and experience to the next level and helped me inspire to become a better pilot every single flight… and also helping me remember my gear…
I want to give a special shoutout to a few members who made my experience at BAVA and Infinite Flight so special. @Chris_Wing, @Flying_Pencil @Nick_Wing @Rhys_V @Oliver_P and so many more that have not mentioned, you know who you are though! Thank you for everything.
Finally, to everyone of the Infinite Flight Community, it has been a pleasure flying along side you, and even though I’m stepping away there’s a reason why I’ve always ended my videos with the phrase “see you in the skies very soon” because I don’t like goodbyes, but rather “see you laters.” Because you never know when perhaps our flight plans will cross again.
So until then, for the final time, I hope to see you all in the skies, very soon.
All the best,
-CNG
