I would like to say thanks to the development team as I noticed something last night that made me smile. One of the Cessna 208 is one that I am very familiar with in the real word as I have spent some Wrench time on LGA, if I remember right she was a good ship didn’t give us many issues.
On a second note I am working on a program/app to add more realism to Virtual Airlines. Program will include a Pilot log book, trip data cards. Right now its still in development and will hopefully include Simbrief, some form of voice comms, Audio TCAS alerts, ETA, ETE, fuel loads and fuel burn and a Nav log. I have been working on this and developing it for about 6 months. It started as a way for me to track fuel use and such. The only issue is with the version that is fully functional currently is it is only set up for KG. Working on one that has both KG and lbs. If anyone is has any ideas on what is needed let me know, the math used works and is good . Currently its in Excel format to hunt down any glitch or see areas that need work.
If there is anything that people would like to see included.
Edit:
I forgot to say I am including a economics engine for the Virtual airline boys and girls. There are a few other items I would love to have but I would have to talk with Infinite Flight and Navigraph/Simbrief, as I some features would need access through API (Sorry this is uncharted territory as I am more mechanical inclined than tech savvy, unless its a camera of course).
AS a former Maintainer who has work in flight test I like data and lots of data, As part of the NAV log feature there will be a way to set it to automatically log any flight data parameter and any interval. Still Early and looking to work with someone with more high tech boomatron knowledge than me. With Simbrief it may be a tab that may have full functionality (My hope) My main goal is to add a little more realism and more aspects of airline operations.
If you are interested in assisting on this project I would be more than happy to. Currently no PC just two tablets and my phone.
