"Thank you" Command

After I take off and Tower hands me off to another frequency, or after I land and ground tells me to taxi to parking, I always say “Thank you, good day”, knowing that I won’t hear from them for the rest of the day. :)

I love saying thank you to controllers, while a tower might be busy I don’t see how courtesy is a bad thing.I love it when there are exchanges between Tower and Pilots.

Hi,I honestly always like when someone said “thank tou”,always look to give back “thank you” or “you welcome”,but sometimes when I’m busy I can’t,I only want to focus to the next!

I can’t remember a time when I haven’t said thank you to a controller. I say it numerous times as well. But to be honest I love it more when the controller acknowledges you.

When I was controlling I had no issue what so ever about people saying thank you, it actually showed that people appreciated services.

This being said I’ve also never had issues about clogged frequencys, considering they don’t appear as an alert on ATCs bar.

For me no flight is properly completed with out sending a , "Thank you , good day " command to my ATC controller :)

I use thank you to controllers that really need it. If they vector me in before another plane or approve my runway changes.

I like the thank you’s. I will also give a thank you if I need you do something you didn’t request…

Like taxiing to a different runway that may be further away, climbing to a different altitude, changing runways and so forth.

When I’m ATC Officer you’ll find yourself at the end of the inbound line if you mess up an approach 🤗

Always appreciated. Might not notice or reply if busy but good when I see it. I control and usually fly with sound off so it doesn’t really clog anything up.

Usually I say thank you if they ask an aircraft to give way to me, and I saw thank you, good day if I just parked at the gate.

I appreciate the thank you too ^^

When its within my operating limits, i usually answer back.

When the frequency is at a point where the voice cannot keep up with the actual commands, i eventually hear it and i do remember which aircraft sends it but i wont send a reply back.

Maybe unless the aircraft is still on my frequency and that i managed I’ll send one.

Especially tower and ground operations, if i cant do it on tower i can do it on ground =p

I’m okay and I try to reply as long as it’s not after a “check forum tutorials” command

I like it now more because we used to have the command flash, but now it doesn’t and I just hear the command.

Personally, I really like getting a “Thank you” command. It makes me feel appreciated by the pilots. And I really try do tell them a “Thank you, Good day” is it´s not too busy.

I usually use the “Thank You” command switching frequencies and after parking to Ground.
