Thai Airways is expecting to receive its first A350-900xwb tomorrow. This will be the first of 12 airplanes with another to be delivered this year. The plane will do crew familiarization flights between Thai’s hubs of Bangkok and Chiang Mai. The 350 will start long haul to Melbourne in September.
The configuration will be 32 Business class seats and 289 Economy class seats. It is believed that Business class will receive free inflight internet while in Economy class you are expecting to pay a small fee.

Thai Airways will be the 7th Carrier to operate the A350. The fourth in Asia after, Vietnam airlines, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. They will be the 2nd Carrier to operate the A350 to Bangkok after Cathay Pacific.
