There is an Active TFR IRL because of an active hazardous materials situation in McArthur ohio. The TFR allows relief aircraft inside of the airspace only. All others need to be 23,000 or above when passing the area. The HazMat situation was caused by a Explosives Plant with a huge leak. Possibly someone followed the Fiddle around and Find Out philosophy. I will link the TFR. Here’s the NOTAM number FDC 5/2144
Not to sure, but I don’t think that explosive plant with the huge leak is in IF, so there’s no need for the TFR🙃.
In all seriousness, I understand from a realism standpoint, but there’s no point in it since it doesn’t impact operations in the sim.
Hey!
The TFR you mentioned ends tomorrow at 1425z. The only TFRs we have in the game (and which make sense to have) are long-term ones such as runways being used as taxiways, aircraft size restrictions, etc…
We don’t need to have very temporary TFRs in the game, particularly ones which have basically no relevance to Infinite Flight.
Is there a way for temporary NOTAMs to go up (like IRL)?
I know in the States they exist over major events such as sports events. Also, Washington D.C. and the West Palm Beach area for obvious reasons. I don’t know about Rehoboth Beach, Delaware now.
I apologize if this is the wrong place to pose this question.
Thank you.
I will Direct Message you on IFC for this matter.
