Texture quality difference

I want to understand, what is the difference in the quality of the texture settings here? On the fairly old post-global flight version of Infinite Flight, I noticed a pretty clear difference between these three texture settings. From Low-Medium-High. But, then the standard for the lowest graphic setting (Low) was raised, so that this Low looks like the medium setting position in the post-global version first (I forgot what version this is).

My questions regarding this:

  • Does texture quality have any effect on battery drain during long flights?

(For example, if all this time I have set it to High, it just drains the battery while cruising. When I set Low without looking at Medium, is the difference in the duration of the drain quite noticeable?)

  • is it different for each plane if I set the texture quality from Low and High? considering that there are several older versions of aircraft that have not been reworked

Thank you

Anything that requires more performance (aka higher textures) your device will want to use more power, yes. This happens with every device

Why sometimes i get a reduced frame rate and lags while taxiing on ground although i set texture to medium sometimes?

Setting your texture to medium does not guarantee a better frame rate. Other factors come into play too.

So why i got a laggy scenery and reduced frame rate particularly in 3D airports? It can happen to others too

Again, more performance requires higher power from devices. Your device has to render 3D buildings/objects at airports along with other planes around you.
What you can do is reduce the object density along with reducing other graphic settings

I assume that my iPad Air 3rd generation would perfectly handle high settings but unfortunately i have started lately to encounter such issues with graphics even with replay mode

Yes, I believe in this, and it definitely applies to all devices, not just cellphones. I just mean the quality of the textures looks like there’s no difference in each set

how can i do this btw?
