Whilst approaching KLAX the controller on approach “John H Duque” was asking pilots to descend to 1000ft which put us on a collision course with the mountains, completely dumb and shouldn’t be allowed to control!
a) Probably playground
b) Don’t use the word ‘retarded’ as it can offend some people
