Terrain map

Hello everybody, I’m playing IF since a lot but I’m always asking why do infinite flight removed the colored map. It was useful for approaches and maybe that could be useful for atcs, like yesterday happened: approach said me to descend 3000, but in front of me there was a 3600 high mountain. So that kind of map could be really useful

It’s probably due to technical reasons.

They’re going to add it back.

One of our valued IFATCs has developed a site where you can find a reasonable alternative for the terrain maps around airports. Have a look here and enter the airport you are ATC for. Don’t forget to click the UPDATE button :-)
