Terrain Issue at KJFK

Hello IFC!

So just a few moments I landed at JFK, and my 747 almost crashed.
No, not because of pilot error.
I was on short final for runway 4L on KJFK when at 600 or 500 feet when I suddenly hear:
30 20 10…
on HUD view I saw that I was overshooting the runway so I tried to pull down, and again I hear:
50 40 30 20 10…
And I was still at 300 feet
Then I suddenly made a -9000 FPM landing on the nose gear and almost skid off the runway. Even as I landed, from HUD view it looks like my aircraft is hovering in the air and from outside view it looked like my aircraft sank into the Mariana Trench.
I got only 5000 xp for an 7 hour flight, my landing wasn’t registered either. I didn’t expect this since everything was else okay, but I don’t know how or why this happened.

Device: Apple iPad Pro 6th Generation (2022)
Operating System: iPadOS 17.0.3

Thank you

Most probably corrupt scenery.
It’s usually a local occurrence and it’s not something that will show properly in replays.

Best is to clear scenery cache and then restart the app. Not much else to do here :)

another question, do I get my landing xp back? It’s ok if not

If the landing wasn’t registered, you didn’t get the XP.
There’s no way to add XP, I’m afraid.
Just do another quick landing! ;)
