Hey guys how do you see where the terrain is and the elevation when flight planning?

Hey! Infinite Flight doesn’t have a terrain map directly within the app, but you can still manage your flight planning by doing a few things:

  1. Use External Resources: You can use apps like ForeFlight or SkyVector to check terrain and elevation before planning your flight in Infinite Flight.
  2. Check Charts: For specific airports, you can refer to approach charts, which often include terrain information, to help you with planning.
  3. Manual Planning: When setting up your flight plan, be mindful of the elevation of airports and any known high-terrain areas, especially if you’re flying in mountainous regions.

If you’re ever unsure, it’s always a good idea to keep a safe altitude buffer until you’re closer to your destination and can visually see the terrain.
