Ah now there you would be wrong. Cameron’s app shows YOU on the map and anyone else who is at that airport on that server. Cameron’s app also compiles these maps from the IF source so that all edited airports are available as soon as the are edited. It also includes ALL of the Global airports. Each gate is named and the size of the aircraft which can use that gate. Since this data is dynamically pulled from the GIT library, each and every spawn position is available to be shown for every airport.
Sure you wouldn’t see green poles sticking up, however, the thought being you could look on a screen in the cockpit, very much like your Nav in your car, see where the aprons, taxiways, runways are and who is currently there.
This app is available today! All that would be needed is to integrate it into the cockpit view!

This app is available NOW. It is in the Apple IOS store. It supports ALL Global airports as well!
As kilt said, this is taking the simulator out of Infinite Flight. For someone who edited a class B airport, I know how much work it is, and not that it would be hard to do, it’s just unnecessary. We add names to every gate, so instead of you seeing Spawn Point 1, you see A12. That requires us to GOOGLE the charts. @Maxmustang’s favorite words of advice, google is your friend. Use it!!

It looks great. Love this feature! But one minor adjustment to the ATC Call:
“ExampleAir 1, taxi to Gate 15A in terminal 4”

Nice job. This would be a great feature to make Infinite Flight more realistic.
I am afraid to say that these markings would make IF “unrealistic!”

That’s a cool edit but I don’t think it would add to the realism.
IRL, pilots use airport charts for this. A simple google search for which airlines park which aircraft, at a certain gate, would yield the results for what you are looking for.
LiveFlight is also a great resource to find this information as Kilt pointed out. In my opinion, using charts is better and more realistic. :)

Such an AMAZING idea, this would bring more realism & also assist people in having fewer violations & events would be more organized which in turn would make them more enjoyable (rather than worrying about is this the correct terminal and/or gate, etc.)
