What are the reasons for there being TFR’s surrounding KEGE and KASE? And why do no other airports have them? They seem more permanent to me too.
That specific TFR is there as a size restriction. And there are other airports around the world that have them, for various reasons, you just have to look harder 😉

The restrictions are there to prevent people from flying A380s and other large heavies into Vail and Aspen, two small, but busy regional airports

I found one other airport it was the one by the alps (TNLK) and I see people flying A380’s out of there all the time and they never get ghosted

They were also put in place while we had regions and they were the airports that used to be very busy so the TFR was needed.
