Tell me who is wrong in this?

I just watched a if player at Brisbane get banned from expert. I will explain what happened tell me if this is atc fault or the player.

So there’s a lot of traffic landing and atc trying to rush players to get on the runway and get out.
There is an a330 on maybe a 4 mile final and you told an a380 to line up once the other plane before it landed. Mind you this is a very heavy a380 going from Brisbane to some where in Europe ofc it will be slow getting on the runway but I guess they were expected to go Mach Jesus on the runway as a very heavy a380. They took off the other plane had to go around which even if they got on the runway fast enough the other plane still would have went around cause it took the a380 a lot of runway to get off the ground then they disappeared.

Lmk who’s fault that is cause I really believe this is atc fault.

Just because they disappeared doesn’t mean they got reported.

I doubt the controller at the time would report him out of the blue like that (As Variable said, he probably disconnected), especially since the controller lined him up knowing the consequences of that. And if he was reported he can always appeal the violation.

Probably a disconnect.

I support the possibility of the A380 player being banned because it happened to me a couple of months ago when I got banned without a single warning. I appealed and thankfully the appeals staff were reasonable enough to admit the controller was at fault for handling the situation in such a severe manner.

Although all of these are just theories and we can only figure this out by asking both the controller and this players and hope that they want to tell us what happened.

It makes sense to report if they got a warning regarding expediting or something. If no then I don’t think it would be a report.

If the information you have provided is correct, I agree that the ATC should not have lined-up the A380 before the A330. 4 nm is not enough space to get an A380 out unless they are already on the runway and ready to go. But remember, we are all humans and humans make mistakes. And I also support that the A380 most likely disconnected. During a very busy session, I doubt that ATC would have the time to report someone for something like that (taking “too” much time lining up).

He got reported but appealed it

They got reported

how did the appeal go?

Um idk I haven’t heard back from the person

I don’t think anyone got and should be banned in that situation. It was most likely a wifi error or disconnect. It happens to me all the time, especially at busy airports like Brisbane yesterday. I also did notice while I was taxing to RWY 1R, ATC tower issued a lot of go arounds because approach simply couldn’t get the planes lined up correctly with enough room. I was flying from Brisbane to Beijing at almost full take-off weight. Great experience overall.
