TBM yoke won’t pitch down

Hey everyone

Today while I was approaching Torrance Field in the TBM, the yoke would not pitch down even after I calibrated the yoke muiltiple times. The plane continued pitching up and I ended up stalling and almost crashing before I ended the flight. Why is this happening? My autopilot was disengaged and I calibrated numerous times.

Hello!

Might be the same issue as below. Try the solution that I mentioned in the linked topic when this happens.

I actually did that and it made the situation even worse.

I would also like to mention that this happened mid flight. The yoke is fine on the ground.

Did you also calibrate after turning the V/S on and off?

Your speed can also be a factor. If you are going too fast you will end up pitching up.

Are you using a joystick?

You can reset your controls to default in addition to everything else above.
.

No because I was like 200 feet from the ground and I didn’t have time.

I am not using a joystick. I was actually going at 80 knots for landing when it happened.

Then that is most likely the issue here. You have to calibrate after doing it.

I shouldn’t have to do that in the first place though. I don’t know if it’s a bug or not because I was going at a slow enough speed and I made sure my device was properly calibrated. That might be the issue though.
