Hey IFC, I hate to be that person who calls out minor issues after a major update but I’ve noticed a bug with regard to the gates on the in-game map.
I’m currently at YYZ and noticed that the gates are not tappable anymore after 25.1. It may be a small feature overlooked by many but as an avgeek who loves realism, I always found it helpful whenever I needed to locate my gate.
Before updating, the tappable gate feature used to show a small pop-up (kind of like the one when you tap another aircraft) and it would display the gate number, terminal and what type of gate it is (hardstand, gate, remote, etc).
I have also noted that I’ve found it to be an issue only at certain airports such as CYYZ so please let them know if any of you have found it at other airports.
I know the IF team are very busy taking care of other issues but I do hope that this small but helpful feature isn’t overlooked!
I haven’t updated the game yet, so I didn’t know that this was removed. I actually do the same thing you do, on pretty much every flight, to make sure that I know exactly what gate I’m parking at. I’m very disappointed to hear that this was removed.
I haven’t run into this issue yet. And don’t worry, you’re not a bother! Bug reports are very important and valuable, especially after updates when hotfixes are everywhere. I’ve moved this to Support , mind including your device and operating system?
