Tanker 76 comes home!

26th of February 2020 - Nîmes-Garons, french airtankers home base

Here is the new Dash 8-Q400 MRE (E for Enhanced a modernized version of the Q400 MR) that the Sécurité Civile just officially received the day before, the number 76.
This ship is converted into an airtanker by Conair.
It can drop up to 2,655 gallons thanks to a system similar to the RADS, called RDS (Advanced Retardant Delivery System).
France has now 4 Dash 8-Q400 fully operational and is waiting for 4 additional that should be delivered by 2022.

Love the fire industry! Im working on getting my company into fires, slowly but surely hoping to have an aircraft on fire contracts either this season or next season!

I hope you succeed in achieving that!

I am currently working on a project in school on the impact aviation has on that industry. So I’ve been trying to get lots of information on the industry.
