today i decided to finally try out the new A35K in IF and it was going to be my first flight after 2-3 weeks because I couldn’t fly or had the motivation to fly for personal problems. I was really happy to finally fly again but that didn’t really happen today. I am begging the team of Infinite Flight to take the requirements more seriously for being able to fly in E-servers, this also includes some controllers.

Today I have waited for over 45 minutes just to get clearance to push whilst the controller approved PS clearance to some other pilots that only waited for 10-15mins max. I can confirm that because I was using the free cam while waiting and saw some pilots spawn and get their clearance. I would love if the pilots would get the chance to also report controllers!

Unprofessional pilots! I was already mad after waiting so long to push and then I finally got the clearance to taxi to RW09R at EGLL. I was already getting a long taxi route and then while taxiing I saw a pilot blocking the taxiway and leaving a huge gap which made 3-4 pilots wait behind him. I looked at his profile, a newbie… I would appreciate if the requirements get thighten up more seriously because some of us really want to fly professionally!
I hear you on the unprofessionalism (is that even a word ) you’ve experienced. I too have had my fair share of times where I’ve seen people cutting in line, getting escorted, etc. I do believe that there’s a need for some change to occur where things like this are far less common, if not nonexistent. They should be in this server, that’s why we have the training and casual servers for unprofessionals and beginners. Although I don’t think the two go hand in hand.
It might be a game but that does not mean that it’s a playground. All the servers have their own rules, casual doesn’t care what you do, training basically says it in the name… training. It’s for unprofessional pilots who train to become better and there’s experts too.. As the name of this one also says „experts“… you can’t be behaving like a fool in a server where people fly on purpose so they can be professional. If you wanna fly unprofessionell, then go to t- and c-servers. I’m sure many pilots will agree with me and that this behavior of unprofessional pilots make them frustrated
I think free will is the problem you can’t control. If someone just wants to strictly be on the expert server to be a menace, what are you gonna do about it? If atc/mods aren’t there, nothing can be done. If they play in a way where the violations don’t go off on them, how are you gonna stop em? The only thing you can do is look the other way and keep a close eye on the community to see if there’s another expert server feedback form to fill out.
This is precisely why I avoid busy hubs like EGLL. I’d rather pilot and fly at a decent sized airport with ATC coverage versus EGLL or KLAX, to name a few. I hate the unprofessional behavior some pilots do. But there is nothing we can do because this is a game.
I was handling a very large arrival wave, so we had to use both runways, which significantly restricted our ability to release departures. Eventually, I was able to shift all traffic bar a few to 09L, meaning 09R was now fully open for departures. At that point, we issued the go-ahead to start allowing more aircraft to pushback, as the lines for takeoff were congesting the airport too much prior to that.
Sorry to hear that others received pushback clearance before you. We’re all human, and sometimes we mistakenly issue pushback in an incorrect order. Our goal wasn’t to intentionally hold anyone at their gate longer than they had to; we all kind of just have to expect delays like this when there are new aircraft releases. Thank you for reading the post! I personally think that you’ve handled the arrivals etc very perfectly. I’ve had no problems or whatsoever with you, the only thing was the ground and ATIS controller.. I know that we all are human beings and make mistakes Bushido thing was just that he started to allow people to push and when I realized that those were pilots who spawned 10 minutes ago and got push, that made me kind of frustrated. I then asked one or two times for push and he just told me to hold position.. that’s what made me create this post and point out that controllers have to give more to the pilots. Not everyone including me has an hour just to take off… I hope that what he did was just a mistake and I wish for this not to happen again.
As the ground controller I’d like to apologize for the delay and inconvenience that the 45 minute gate hold had on you. I understand that the experience wasn’t what you’d expect from ATC. As what @Rhys_V said above we were dealing with a burst of arrivals at that time henceforth the gate hold.
I had absolutely no intention of giving clearance to someone who had waited a third of the time that some other pilots had.
The big the delay was mostly because of some pilots with absolutely no regard for the rules and spammed my frequency like nuts therefore making me confused on who had waited longer.
That is certainly for sure. However if you don’t have a lot of time I wouldn’t recommend flying in or out of high traffic airports as the delays can sometime exceed an hour.
I certainly did make a few mistakes during that time and I apologize for what inconvenience you had to experience.
Unfortunately I can’t guarantee that this won’t happen especially with how popular Heathrow is right now.
One last piece of advice, it’s not recommended to create public posts about this kind of situation. It’s recommended to privately contact the controller about the situation.

Not that I don’t agree with the sentiments, but hashing and re-hashing and re-re-hashing this for the millionth time isn’t going to help. It just gives a place for users to be miserable together. Remember, others are not in control of how you feel. Only you control how you feel. It’s a video game. Sometimes other users are annoying. But it isn’t the end of the world.

I’m not mad at you for what happened today or whatsoever. The thing is, this now happened quite a few times to me and I just wanted to share this to the people so other controllers, who also do this get to hear that some people don’t like the things that happen like this for example.
People wanting expert server to be professional and ultra realistic just get your pilots license at this point and join an airline, you will be disappointed by the way such things happen in real life tooo.
