Tagging Mods

Hello. it has come to my attention that users on this forum tag mods for useless reasons. Heres Some “Do’s” and “Dont’s” of tagging mods and devs. Lets Start With The Do’s

Do:
Tag A Dev/Mod If Your Experiencing a problem.
Tag A Mod/Dev If The Forum Is Having Issues
If ATC gave you a violation for no reason. (Contact Joe)

Example:
“AT” Joe, Today I Was Flying On Expert In N328MM. Aircraft Type Was A C172, In New York. ATC Name “ATC’s Name” falsely accused me of not following directions and taxing on grass. i was given 2 violations. I am not happy. i would like these violations revoked. thanks YYJPIlot6590

Dont:
Tag A Dev/Mod if you see a super cool plane that we MUST have.
Tag a mod when people annoy you. (Flag or PM a mod Instead)
Tag a Dev/Mod When Someone Crashes Into You On Live.

Example:
“AT” Misha. OMG SOME LOSER HIT ME IN HIS A380 AT SFO ON FREE FLIGHT SERVER. HE MUST BE REMOVED AND BANNED.

Thanks To Joe, Misha, Carson, Mark, Philippe And Laura For All The Work They Do. (Sorry If I Forgot Any)

Much Thanks

Your post isn’t accurate. Here is just some of the reason why:

  1. Don’t tag Joe or any other ATC mod. PM them privately and handle it.
  2. Don’t tag a dev or mod if you are having problems. Post it in support and let others help you. Then take action later on as needed if you don’t find the proper help by fellow community members.

Don’t tag mods at all. They don’t get a notification like we do when people tag them. Remember this simple rhyme: Flag, Don’t Tag.

We honestly don’t care if you tag us or not; we will ignore if it’s a useless tag. However, don’t ever tag developers, they really don’t needed to be tagged unless it’s necessary (which is never).
