G’Day everyone! Last week, I flew the Qantas A330 across Australia from Sydney to Darwin. Today, I finally had the opportunity to go back and take some pics from it and edit them. I hope everyone enjoys the photos!
Just started prepping for the flight, loading flight plan into the navigational systems while also getting fuel and cargo on board.
Pre-Flight is proceeding as passengers begin to board. Today should be a smooth flight of just over 4 hours to Darwin!
We got pushback clearance a bit early, and it shouldn’t be long before we are wheels up!
Fortunately, there isn’t heavy traffic today, so there wasn’t much waiting between pushback and take off!
We soon reached our initial cruise level of 35,000ft roughly 135 miles north of Sydney.
About 2 hours into our flight, we ascended to our final altitude of 38,000ft. As we crossed over the Queensland territory of Australia, we also passed over the edge of the Simpson Desert.
As we entered the Northern Australia territory, our scenery started to get a bit more green! We were passing over the Barkly Tableland.
We are starting to come to the end of our journey! Darwin is only about 30nm ahead of us. Flight attendants, please prepare the cabin for arrival.
After a smooth descent and approach, we had a beautiful touchdown into Darwin! Now it’s just a short taxi to the gate.
Disarm doors and crosscheck. To all of our passengers, thank you for flying with us today and we hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day.
Thanks for taking a look and my pics! Don’t forget to like and vote.
