Swissair DC-10-30

A Swissair DC-10 is a must have: There are two variants of this livery so I included two linked images (may you forgive me the two images for that reason), both sourced from Wikipedia. The above is the old and the lower is the newer livery. You may decide which one you like more ;)

Swissair had 14 DC-10-30 in its fleet, 4 of which were ER Versions. Swissair was one of the first users of the DC-10-30 Version receiving its first unit in 1972, having it ordered together with the KSSU Group(SAS, KLM, UTA) to get special pricing and maintain joint maintenance. The last Swissair DC-10 was decommissioned in 1992. Here is the official introduction letter by Swissair for the DC-10-30 (It’s in german): http://www.sr692.com/fleet/32_dc10/dc10-2009.jpg The Aircraft was then replaced by the MD-11.

Stunning livery. Would love to use these for long hauls from Zurich to East Asia.
