Putin’s presidential plane is chased across Switzerland by fighter jets amid rising fears of a new cold war threat
A Russian presidential plane carrying journalists was chased across Swiss skies by fighter planes amid mounting tensions between Vladimir Putin and the rest of Europe.
One of the passengers on board the Russian plane, which was headed to Peru, took a video showing the military jet flying by their side, clearly carrying Swiss markings.
Andrey Kolesnikov, editor-in-chief of the magazine Russian Pioneer, wrote on Facebook: ‘We’re flying above Switzerland. At some point, the plane with the delegation and the journalists is being blocked from three sides by three fighter jets.’
Thats pretty interesting considering that it was Switzerland who was escorting the aircraft , as they aren’t in the EU and plus the are considered a “neutral” country , they basically only worry about themselves and don’t get involved into other people problems. Hence why they weren’t involved in any of the WW1/WW2!
It was escorted, not chased. And the Daily Mail would like nothing better than a ‘new cold war’ to sit with their puerile unpleasant agenda of hate. It’s a vile excuse for a newspaper.
Sounds like a typical post made by journalists - Propaganda, click baits and attention.
The fighters did not threaten, but escorting. Which is a normal safety thing to do.
Don´t trust everything you read.
