Lol. I have wanted to become a pilot since I was 5 and met a lufthansa pilot.
cool some of my mates want to be a pilot
Etihad seems the best I think??? what do you think
why would you choose whichever you would choose
I would you choose any of these if they offered me. It would take me quite a while for me to figure out which one, but this is why I’m here. My list would be
1.Emirates-Great airline, lots of destinations, and only large aircrafts.
2.Swiss-Great airline, love Switzerland, and love their new 777.
3.Etihad- An okay airline, pretty nice planes, and ok staff.
why swiss the other two are quite similar also Qatar airways is quite good apparently all I know is from the passenger side
Remember that with the Middle East Airlines you will need to move to their Home Countries. This may put you off so you may choose to fly for your own airline.
And I think Qatar is the best, diverse fleet, staff and a great company overall.
good point but UAE is quite nice but tooooooooooooo hot!
Yeah that is true, but I am planning on studying in Europe or USA, so it really doesn’t matter. I move countries every two to three years due to my parents jobs. Plus, I would so that to fly with good airlines, and not United or AA. JK if you like those
Emirates by far! Etihad and Swiss seem average at best.
Sorry mate but is not that easy.
To join any of those airlines u need at least 3000 hours on a JET with an MTOW of 20tons or more
Better start with FLYBE
Good luck though
I am a FO for Flybe
oh right ooooh unlucky
Don’t worry once I build up my hours I’m quitting and going for BA or Virgin
Whatever gets you from Point A to Point B affordably!
I fly Spirit if it’s cheap, so I’m not too terribly picky. In fact, I probably won’t fly on any of these; there are cheaper alternatives, haha.
None. I prefer Qantas, as they are the safest airline.
Swiss, because I’m Swiss🙃
IF i should be a pilot, i would love to work for Emirates. Lots of dest and really good service. You allways feel at home on Emirates
I think Emirates does does a training programme for non pilots to become pilots I think but I think the cost is near 300000 but im not sure.
Its cost alot of money to be a pilot these days
Unfortunately thats the way the world works if you have money then you do what you want. In this case you become a pilot.
best option is joining the military to qualify in the profession of your choice before leaving and joining an airline! lots do that as you dont have to pay for your training
Hmm kind of sounds like what I’m going to do. Since in Switzerland we have to do it anyway(Yes when we’re 20 or so the army comes to anoy us…🙄😤) I’m going to join the aviation part of the army. If I see I definitely like it, then I’ll continue and I’ll have skipped a bit of the training. (For free) if not, then I didn’t wast any time anyway since I had to do it. I’m not totally sure if I can do what I just said, but if I can, that’s what I’m going to do.
(Anyway that would be for atc not for flying, but the same for flying would probably work…)
In my situation this is really good economically and time wise. For other people maybe joining the military doesn’t have the same advantages , but I think that that is still is an option to consider.
